History and Vision

The salons combine a relaxed, friendly ambience with up to the minute cutting and colouring techniques.

We listen carefully to every client's needs and wishes. Our aim is to solve your hair problems whilst delivering a highly enjoyable experience.

We have always been dedicated to continuous training and education for our team and our senior hairdressers are amongst the most experienced in the area.

We first opened a ladies' hair salon in Canterbury in 1973. The salon was called "Clouds" Four years later we opened a second salon in Sittingbourne, also called "Clouds" .

Later we amalgamated our Canterbury ladies salon with the men's salon which we had opened next door, keeping the men's salon name Clippers.

In 1997 we joined 365. This is a hairdressing education group. The members' aim is a professionally run salon with excellent client service.

In the Summer of 2004 we were awarded Investors in People.

Cloud Nine

In November 2007 we opened a brand new salon in Whitstable which we called 'Cloud Nine'.

This has, of course, the very latest equipment and furnishings but still the same great value, standard of hairdressing and service.

There is Wi Fi for the clients, a colour bar, a style bar, refreshment choices and much more.

We are using the exciting Paul Mitchell Color range in each of our salons. We are also offering the fabulous Paul Mitchell retail haircare range. These products are also used at the shampoo area and in the salon to create the very best hairdressing for you, whatever your style.
